Kriki, born in 1965 in Issy-les-Moulineaux, lives and works in Paris. A founder of the Nuklé-Art group of painters in 1984, Kriki is still the embodiment of punk culture in French contemporary art. In the early 1980s, he was involved in the emergence of what is now known as Street Art, but he also belongs to the generational sensibility of Figuration Libre, whose revitalisation he helped to bring about.
In 1985, Kriki invented a character, the “Fuzz”, half-robot, half-fetish, polymorphous, omnipresent, a true signature of the artist, with an emblematic head.
