After a ten-year immersion on foot or by motorbike on the roads of every continent, Rice settled on the Côte d’Azur in 2000. Deeply out of step with his society, he drew the foundations of his work from his experience and began his own approach. He explored every possible form of expression, even assembling thousands of capsules to talk about consumerism, the rejected objects of consumer society. The man questions and challenges himself, reflecting the resulting image of society’s own behaviour.
