Born in Nice in the early 1980s, Loris Quintana is a
self-taught artist. He started his artistic work at a
very young age with graffiti, in which he explored
and developed his taste for lettering, turning to
calligraphy and typography.
He then regularly collaborates in the creation of
logos and designs for various streetwear brands
as well as for the visual identity of musicians and
tattoo artists.
Joining the “Los Gringos” collective, Loris enriches
his artistic expression with new media and
techniques of calligraphy with brushes.
His work on canvas, presents a deliberately raw
aspect in which he lets transparencies play in a
deliberate will to merge background and form.
